Lifepod 5 - Day 5 - Log #4

"Alright, I'm heading back to my Lifepod now. What I found in the base was... something... I'm not sure what it is, but it's some sort of tablet with a glowing purple symbol on the front. The material looks nothing like ours, so I think this is some sort of alien tech. Whether it's from this planet or another one, I don't know. Anyways, i looked into that Maida name and found who it was. Margeruit Maida, who went missing some time ago when the ship, the Degassi, vanished. It was also reported members of the Torgal corporation went missing on that ship too, including the company head, Paul Torgal, and his son, Bart Torgal. Is it possible this is where they ended up? And if so, what happened to them? I did find a PDA from Bart labeled "#3 The End" but I think I'd rather get the rest of the PDA's to learn their whole story. I also found a PDA which gives the location for a possible other base from the Degassi crew, but it's too deep for me to get to currently. I'll have to visit it some other time. Anyways, I'm almost home now. I think I'm gonna start work on building a better base tomorrow, and the first step will be material gathering. I'll see you guys tomorrow"
