Animal Crossing Giftset

A awesome lady popped up and offered me Animal Crossing eCards that I just happened to have checked for in stores, but the stores had discontinued them so I was out of luck. So I was grateful to the lady for happening to have some and offering them, so I found out her favorite animal crossing characters and animals, and found out she also likes Applejack, so I came up with this “thank you” gift set.

Reese, the pink llama owner of the Re-Tail store in the game, I crafted from a Pinkie Pie generation 4.5 figure. The mane and tail are fabric faux flower petals I cut. Face, hooves and outfit details are painted acrylics, sealed in Artists Varnish, her dress is wide bias tape I stitched. Gold rhinestone buttons on front.
The Applejack was originally just a g3 Ponyville pony but I changed the eyecolor and cutiemark, and crafted a faux vinyl pink Animal Crossing envelope with a red rhinestone seal, attached it to her hoof. The bucket of apples is just a spare accessory I’ve had laying around from another Applejack playset.

I bought a blank wooden crafting box and painted it. Painted lots of icons from the Animal Crossing game, and did the deer and bear head icons cause the recipient likes bears and deer the most from the game. I added some 3-D stickers I bought, that seemed to fit the theme of the game, and the giant green shiny leafs are cupcake toppers I’ve kept and washed for crafting such a project like this. I glued one on the top of the box, and one on the inside. Also glued some beads on the outside of the box.

I made items to go on the inside the box, and tossed in some knickknacks that seemed to fit the theme of the game too. The pig with plaid shirt is a keychain I bought from Claires. But it is VERY Animal Crossing-like. I took another plastic bucket from a Applejack toy, and strung some retro fruit beads on wire and glued it into the bucket. I don’t have all of the fruit from the Animal Crossing game in bead form, but I did have cherries, oranges, lemons and a banana. I glued shell halves together to make the giant clam shell that you can customize in the game, painted a few beads to resemble the presents and fossils in the game. Glued in red and green plastic gems to resemble the minerals you collect in the game to custom craft items in Reese’s shop. So basically this chest is like a item chest for Reese’s shop. xD

I can’t afford to do a lot of gifts and trades but I come through when properly motivated. (Don’t test that xD)
