It's a Trap by lightfootcomics It's a Trap by lightfootcomics

Puck, or Robin Mactavish from www.puckcomics.com/

This wasn't my original plan for a picture about the comic, but this is what happened.  She's typically kind of the anti-farservice-girl.  I usually consider either following the trend of the comic, or the opposite.

Anyone reminded of Flea from Chrono Trigger with this, body of a female but is really a guy?

Wow!  Totally unexpected and incredibly cool!  And you're definitely right that it's not what I would expect of a picture of Puck, and something about it makes me very ... wary.  It does kind of feel very trap-like!  Hotdogs for two seems ... ominous, somehow.

Colin always manages to have things turn in his favor long-term, so I'm assuming whatever danger is coming he'll make it.

Oh, he's always managed to make it work, so not too serious a trap on his part.

I love how your title has somehow consistently convinced everyone who looked at this pic that Puck is a dude.  Like you, I wasn't entirely aware of the cultural weight of that phrase.

The hot dogs might not help.

Yes.  I suppose they're a little ... suggestive.

Although if she was an action figure, she'd most likely come with a hot dog accessory.  I didn't add them to make it more sexy, I just tried to pick something recognizable she's had in the comics.  It was either that or the Muppets.

And they are suggestive, but I think maybe that it's also part of what is accidently implying she's male.

She's had a child in the comic, so it's safe to say she's female.

Aside from the manga/hentai meaning of "trap", I meant the more western meaning.

oh.

also the "Trap" for manga/hentai originated from westerners, using admiral ackbar to acknowledge herms/dual genders

I didn't know they were related.  I meant the more basic meaning of trap, that this is somehow meant to manipulate someone- probably her husband.

In manga, I thought "trap" meant a male character who pretends to be female and sort of charms unknowing males to fall in love with someone they think is a female.

Manga adapted the trap from westerners who would actually see very well dressed cross dressers/transexuals
