Random journal entry, but I'm bored in class soooo. I recently bought both k-os new album Yes! and K'naan's Troubadour. That's right, I think I'm ghetto (both aren't even rap, they're hiphop, with other genres, but whatever, I'm trying to establish some street cred.)
So, both are really interesting records, and I often read to see the two compared, and while I can see why as they're both Canadian Hiphop musicians, these two cds really differentiate the two artists more than pull them together.
Both are amazing records, although I don't think it's k-os' best album by a long shot (that title belongs to Joyful Rebellion), and I haven't heard
