This saying never quite made a lot of sense to me. If the sky is the limit, then does that mean that you are limited by the sky? or the atmosphere is your stopping point? Why doesn't the saying go "The edge of the Milky Way Galaxy is probably your limit unless you're extremely advanced"? I mean, the sky was never a limit for Nasa, neither was the thermosphere of Mars. So why's the sky the limit!? I could launch a hamster into space probably with a good rocket, the sky's not the limit for him.
