Following up from what I said last week, my second exciting announcement is that I have been interviewed and my art is featured in issue #8-9 of Zámezí magazine! The magazine is a publication of the Centre for Mental Health Care Development in the Czech Republic; it is the magazine of the Literary Workshop at the School of Recovery. I'm still on hiatus for the foreseeable future, but I do have a couple of exciting announcements to share this week. The first one is that a postcard of mine will be on display as part of the Mark Mothersbaugh & Beatie Wolfe: Postcards for Democracy exhibit at The Bob Rauschenberg Gallery in Ft. Myers, Florida! Mark Mothersbaugh is a big influence of mine and I strongly believe in the message of the exhibit/demonstration, so this is a dream come true for me! The piece on display is one of the postcards I created for Postcards to Voters last summer (2020), which I sent all around the US: Sadly, I will not be able to travel to Florida to see the exhibit but I managed to zoom in and spot my postcard in the photographs of the exhibit that were posted on Instagram, which was very exciting! If you happen to be in the Ft. Myers area, the exhibit is open until August 8, 2021 :) please let me know if you go and view it!
