I may have asked this before (and I'm sorry if I am repeating myself), what kind of rope do you use? I'm finally able to afford my own and I'm asking around for recommendations.

I use MFP (multifliment polypropyline) from rainbow ropes (www.rainbowrope.com)

do you have a preference in the rope size and cut length?

It depends on the intent. For purely decorative purposes like a karada, I generally use 1/4 " (6mm) . Length is variable based again on the purpose. For suspension harnesses, I tend to use 5/16" (8mm) so as not to over stress the bottom which allows for longer suspensions.
