Request Rules

Please read through the rules, as they will determine whether I will consider the request.

1. Nothing NSFW. Romance consisting of kissing or slight suggestive looks are fine (will be determined at time of request). I see them as cute, colorful, equine characters, and I’d very much like to keep them that way.

2. I would ask to keep characters to a maximum of 3. This is to ensure I can provide each character and the background with enough detail. If you are willing to forgo the background for something minimalistic, then additional characters can be discussed.

3. Please do not ask for anything that cannot be depicted in a single picture or scene. I cannot accept anything that will require multiple panels such as a comic strip or sequence scene.

4. Requests will be limited to one per user. If an open slot is left open for 7+ days and a user’s previous request has not been completed within the month, they may request again.

5. Please do not spam me with notes about your request. I don’t mind if you change your mind and want something altered, but please do this during the outline phase. Once I’ve moved on to coloring, changes will not be permitted. I will cancel the request if asked to, but you will forfeit your place. Afterwards, you may make another request, but it will be moved to the end of the list.

6. I reserve the right to decline any request I choose, even if it follows my guidelines. This rule is usually understood by most, but I am putting it here because I have had to deal with this in the past.

If you wish to make a request, please do so through a note. It makes it much easier for me to keep track of them and in chronological order.

For accepted requests, I will provide updates at certain milestones. This serves two functions. Firstly, to show the progress of the request. Second, is to acquire approval to move on to the next phase of the process. The three phases are as follows: Rough Sketch > Base Color > Shading + Effects.

When requests are open, I will be accepting 3-5 per month depending on the time I have available. As with many of you, work takes up a lot of my time, and since drawing is a hobby of mine, it sadly doesn’t pay the bills.

Accepted requests will be completed in the order they were received, and I will do my best to complete them as soon as I possibly can.

Lastly, I just want to say that I truly appreciate all of you who are interested in my work. It inspires me to improve and motivates me to keep drawing. I seriously can’t thank you all enough.
