This critic has a difficult time conjuring the right description that best fits the image we are presented with.
With a landscape evoking the Catalonia of Dali, the artist presents a magnitude of surrealist fantasies. A darkened sky yet with clouds effervescent. Bleached soil, yet blossoming trees. The artist has managed to capture the otherworldy, the metaphysical. The church almost symbolizing the viewer like the newly risen dead from their graves on Judgment Day. Or perhaps this is paradise found. The critic finds a distinct calm in the midst of the unfamiliar, and one feels as if that a wonderful dream has begun.
