XII - VII

So.
I got sick of complaining.
For over a year I've been so sad because my coloured pencil pictures aren't good enough to be seen as amongst my best anymore, and it felt as if I've lost touch with it...

I went on and on like that, for MONTHS, before I realised that the only reason that my coloured pencil pictures aren't amongst my best anymore is because I don't MAKE THEM my best. I always take the easy way out, always cut the details, always colour with less effort than in Photoshop and... just what the heck?!
I had no right to complain.
My skill had not decresed - my guts had. I always chickened out before really getting to the good parts, and never put as much effort into the pictures as they deserved.

I got SO sick of it.

So I decided to make a picture to be proud of.
A picture that I can look at and say that I didn't slack off and did everything I could to make it look as good as it possibly can...
And this is it, yes.

Not that it's perfect, but it sure as Hell aint simple either.

The character in the downright corner - VII - might be recognised from before, while XII - the one in the left top corner - is new. Both are my original characters.
XII is VII's big brother, because I say so.
They don't really have a story or anything, I've just always wanted to draw XII since the day I decided on his design, and I thought that since I felt a serious urge to draw details these pretty boys could get a slight upgrade in their designs and kick some serious ass.

I don't think that I have much to say about the picture, really, since I just went with what felt nice at the time...
Like the starry sky. I have no idea why I put it there besides it being positively awesome
But that's a reason good as any, I guess.

This took hours and hours to finish and... yeah.
I'm proud of it.
My coloured pencil pictures do not automaticall suck, I just need to get a grip and put some frickin' effort into it.
