I blame this castle from for my urbex addiction ;)

Hidden in the woods lies the forgotten Château de Noisy formerly known as Château de Miranda that is build in the 19th century.

aw, I wanna see this castle so bad! Just because I've already tried twice and it annoys the crap out of me I can't get to it. The first time we were stupid and visited the Veves castle down the street and decided to go to this one and was like, eh can't be hard to find. pff, we snuck back there and it starting raining like crazy so we got soaked and wondered around the woods for an hour AT LEAST and went home to look it up and we were right next to it in the woods. Like right there! boo... couldn't see anything cause of the rain and trees. Then we went back a few days later and the guy chased us down on his quad and was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT GET OUT. :/ He's a douchebag.

But I will get there!! dang it!

This is a great shot, btw. lol, maybe I should say something about the picture instead of ranting. lol..

How did you get to it? Which way did you go to get in?
MissLoungegirl Featured By Owner May 3, 2010
:D I know what you mean by blaming the castle for it =p I love this castle but never got to it yet... did you go in there? 'cause the owner isn't really to found of people going into his castle I heard...
Liek Featured By Owner May 23, 2010  Hobbyist General Artist
Yes we've been there twice.
And yes I've heared some storys about him to... he seems to hate people with camera's and he loves guns ;)
Never seen him though... the last time we did have to hide 3 times for a helicopter that kept hanging above the castle...

If you want to you can see some more pictures from the in and outside here: [link]

hehe thanks, I allready visited your website, nice photographs =p but did you go early then maybe to chateau noisy? I heard when you go really early the chance you run into him is less likely then when on noon... but still really like to visit it one day before it will totally come down :s

been to a factory some days ago that is nearly right in my backyard... always wonderd what it was since there are still some people who live nearby and own the place, asked if I could take some pictures, but the little lady didn't know I was going to enter it also so when I came back they almost had a heartattack when I told... but indeed it wasn't really a good idea to go up there and espacially not alone... but well... still alive and kickin' ;) but I was glad when I was back with both feet on the ground =p but now I know it had been a gin and grainfactory once, build in 1920
[link] take a look if your intressted :)
but I'm pretty sure I'm the only who will ever have entered the place, since you could go in there without asking and since nobody knows about it either and since they are going to break down the place too in copple weeks:s so

While I've been on deviantart, your photos have been the most inspiring to me!
I'm traveling to italy next year and your photos around belgium have just made me fall in love with the scenery!
I love discovering abandoned cottages and buildings round our district and, combined with photography, has progressed into a crazed passion of mine!
I long to travel to Belgium!
So thankyou sooooo much for your photos!!

so awesome! You can just feel the history of the place exuding off the page. Thanks for including the history, its always nice to know about a place you're looking at. The architecture is amazing. I bet that is also very pretty on the inside... or at least was at one time.
