Hello my lovely people! I know some of you are waiting to have your commissions done, but as I mentioned before one way or another, from this 9th to the 16th of July I'll be travelling to the Celsius Festival of Avilés in Spain and won't be able to work. Don't worry; as soon as I'm back home and recovered from the trip, I'll retake your commissions and have them done asap. You know I'm fast ;)

I tag you, current customers, so you don't miss this. I'll be sending you sketches before you can even notice my absence!
:iconspidertee: :iconravenkanzaki: :iconyukiemaru110: :iconevangelinesses:

I hope you all have a great July. As for myself, I'll be presenting my novel "La Visita del Selkie" at this big literary festival, so please, wish me luck!

Hi lovelies! They told me that, in order to gain visibility and get my novels known, I should have a blog. But, however shy I might be, a Youtube channel seemed the best option, and in exchange, I'll offer you silly faces, random intros and conversations about something we all probably love: BOOKS! (and occasional Speedpaint videos, of course)

Audio is in Spanish, but English subtitles are available. Just remember to turn yours on! Let's find cool books together :D
Also, I have an Instagram account now, so if you're there as well, let's keep in touch!

Hi people! I hope you're doing fine. As for myself, we're managing. I still miss my dad a lot, but I keep finding sources of pure happiness here and there, so I'm good. Just wanted to let you know that I'll be on a trip to the UK, and won't come back until August the 10th, so don't worry if you try to contact me and I'm a bit gone; I'll reply back as soon as I return and have some rest.

The Man and I will be visiting London, Oxford and Bath, so yeah, it's a bit of a rush. Time to get that Pride & Prejudice madness going! My boyfriend still refuses to cosplay Elizabeth Bennet, though.
Anyway, happy summer and, if you have any advice on these cities and what I should visit, tell me!

:iconhurrdurrplz: :iconhurrdurrplz: PS: Friendly, sweaty and totally unrelated reminder that my smutty, satirical novel THE LADY AND THE BANDIT is available on Amazon, both in ENGLISH and SPANISH, and if you're in for a ride of lust, cringe and laughter, you should definitely give it a look :D

Yesterday he was at work, the car he was driving was old and something failed. It fell off a cliff and, though the other 3 coworkers will heal, he died suddenly. At least I have that: he didn’t suffer. He didn’t have time to be scared, or hurt. We’ll miss him a lot. He was only 67.

If you have pendant businesses with me, I’ll try to go back to commissions asap, but please give me some time. It hurts too much.

EDIT: 29th of June, 2017

Hi, people. It’s been a week, and thank God my family is better. We’re still mourning and missing my dad terribly. When I hear the doorbell ring, I still somehow think it’s him, by reflex, and stand up to go open for my dad, just before realizing that it’s not him, nor will ever be again.

I miss the way he joked, and sang terrible songs on Sunday as he urged my mom to get pretty and go out together, and the way he stole pieces of sausage and ham from the fridge when he thought no one noticed, and how he’d scratch his back on the wall corners like a bear.

He’d been working like a mule since 7 years old, and had impeccable work ethics. He paid his workers religiously, gave them huge Christmas baskets and always reserved the most dangerous tasks to himself, so if anything bad happened, it happened to him. He went to school only for 20 days, and still he managed to build his own company from scratch and give a job to countless people. He’d been through so much, and still he was so devoid of malice, like a child. He was terrified of snakes, but when one crossed his way on the road, he’d get off his car and move it away with a stick so it didn’t die just like that, under his wheels.

He could hardly read a book and lacked much culture, yet he absolutely loved having a daughter who painted strange things and wrote silly romance novels, which many parents don’t. At least one thousand people passed by his coffin that day, and there were so many flower crowns that I could barely see it. He wasn’t perfect, but he was loved, and respected, and a good person, and had balls of steel.

It won’t be easy to go without him.

But we’re smiling and kinda… joking again, and going out for groceries, and everything’s slowly getting sorted into place. We’re still sad and confused, and the void of him is everywhere we look, but… There’s nothing else to do. I wanted to thank you all for your words and comments, and your lit candles and prayers; your dedication and support was moving, and it helped a lot with my mourning. I didn’t expect so much love from people across the internet.

Thank you all so, so much for your kindness. Really.

I’m back to commissions again, so when I finish a couple, you may expect a silly, horrible Star Wars romance cover soon, as a token of my gratitude. I don’t know how else to appreciate.

Hi people! I owe you an explanation for last day's poll in which I asked you why were you following my work.

I guess you've already noticed because I'm pretty transparent, even in the internet. The thing is, I'm a person full of fears. You know, like the Hulk was always angry? I'm always scared, that's my secret. That's what makes me go through and fuels me to beat those demons. Because I really, really like what I do and sharing it with you. You've made me company and encouraged me through all these years in DA and I cannot stress enough how big my gratitude to you is.

So let's get to the point. You'll surely remember my first Reylo piece The Balance of the Force - Reylo.
Hormones, a combination of daily details, perhaps only my own mind and fangirlism, but I got loaded with some sort of wild energy that was struggling to come out in the most unleashed way. This is not common in me, I tell you. So I knew I HAD to do something, channel that energy in a piece of work before it went away and was too late.

I poured all of me in that picture to the point of burrrrrrning my energies (like I usually do), knowing that this was a one-time-thing, and if I waited a single day more to finish it, this special energy would fade and it would not be the same. One never knows when it will come back. Somehow, this process succeeded and the piece became one of my favorites ever. It was a hit in Tumblr. I know it's not THAT big of a hit compared to others, but to me... I had never gotten that much attention or praise for a single piece in that short period of time IN MY LIFE. I was stunned and so, so proud. Hooked to the screen, happy to see that somehow I had managed to send my feelings through the internet and reached other people's hearts. I couldn't believe what was happening.

An then, when things settled a bit, my mind did what it always does. "What if...?" It's always full of "What ifs", which is really good for this work, drawing, creating, writing stories. But these are two faces of the same coin, and this "What if" wasn't the pleasant kind. To spare you more paragraphs, this was the question haunting my mind:

"What if the only thing they like about me is the fanart? What if any other thing I draw is pointless to them? What if I stop making fanart for some time and they start leaving in loads? There are millions out there painting fanart as well, so it's not like I'm special because of this. Should I start making Reylo fanart like there's no tomorrow just to keep them interested in my work? And what would be the point in this? I wouldn't be honest this way! But I don't want them to feel cheated if they started following me for the Reylo and then I don't make art about it anymore. So what do I do?"

As you can see, this had me worried. That's when I decided to create a poll to hear your thoughts, and I was positive that you'd be honest to me.

To my surprise, the votes were very split. I was shocked to see that a great part of you chose the Technique, concepts... even the variety! (A lot of people had told me before that variety would make it harder to sell my art or create a good portfolio) Sure, a lot of you picked the fanart and I'm very happy about it too. But knowing that there are many other things that I make and that you like as well enough to stay... that was my joy yesterday.

I'm no longer worried, but incredibly happy. I can still make fanart, of course, but it's because I feel like it and not out of fear. God knows I've had too much of that in my life before. I just want to create beautiful things to share with you, no matter if they're original or fanbased.

Thank you so, so much for your support and your replies. You're the best and I wish you the best too.

Also I've got another Reylo piece prepared already HUEHUEHUEHUE...

/Updated December the 28th of 2017/

So do you want some designs for your OC or some culture of your novel/story, explore a thematic or simply order some pretty outfit designs? Maybe some design for your cosplay? I can do it! Male, female, alien, anthro... whatever, as long as they need some clothes! ^^

Bullet; OrangePRICES
Note that these are orientative numbers. A simple pajama would cost way less than complex armor or robes, so don't be afraid to ask me, I'm flexible ^^
There's no limit of outfits per commission and there can be different models or OCs for free up to 2. A higher number would increase the price a bit.

(OPTIONAL) sketches sheet --- 30€
In case you want to have more options to pick from, or are unsure of what you're looking for, you have the option of the Sketch Sheet. Here, I fill a notebook page with small sketches of designs for you to see and choose. It comprehends about 20-25 sketches whose purpose is to see silhouettes, flow and the basic aesthetics. This page needs investigation and a lot of brainstorming, so it has the basic price of 30€.
However, if you're looking for an aesthetic I've sketched before, you'll have access to other sheets I've done previously. Just ask!

Here you can see some sheets. Some of the sketches are finished in the following pictures, as in Zori (the green-haired girl):
WardrobeSketches by LiberLibelula
The mannequin is your OC --- free (If it's winged, furry or has a complex design, I may charge a little.)
No color --- + from 10-25€ per piece
Colored --- + from 20-55€ per piece

Here you can see some examples and varying grades of complexity.

Inquisitor Adaar's Wardrobe by LiberLibelula

So this is how it works. After I receive the payment, I start your commission. I'll stay in contact through the whole process, showing you the sketches, lineart and color, so you can tell me if I have to make changes. And when it's finished, I upload it to my galleries and Social Media ^^

Bullet; OrangeHOW TO ORDER?
Bullet; PurpleI use Paypal only.
If you're Spanish, we can do bank transfer.
Bullet; PurpleSend me a note and tell me what's your petition. If you can, give me some image references, I´d appreciate it. Explain to me what do you want as exactly as possible. The character's personality is relevant, so don't be afraid to tell me about them! :D
Bullet; Purple After agreeing and accepting the order, send the payment to my PayPal gmail, and I will start doing your comission right away. If the work is complex, I'll send you updates until I finish it, that way you can point me any fixes needed.

Hi people! Today I realized that, after almost 5 years in DA, you've surpassed the number of 2000 great persons following this account.

Thank you, thank you so much. I've shared with you everything I could paint, and you've helped me with every single comment, fav and watch. You've given me a lot in return for the little I could give you, and a great part of what I learned, I got it from this wonderful site and the people that also share their advices and their art. Thank you for following me, because you make me know that somebody out there is waiting for my next picture, and maybe my work is helping to improve other people's lives.

When I have a bad day, or I'm afraid that I'm not good enough, or I simply cry because sometimes the world is so big and scary, you're there, even if you never speak. You helped me to become a part of a web where anybody can reach me and I can know wonderful people who put me out of my comfort zone for the best. Seriously, I don't know what would I've done without DeviantArt and you.

Sorry for my poor english and my lack of skill when it comes to give thanks in an eloquent way, but I really mean it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much.

I hope you all have a marvelous day and, like Neil Gaiman said: Make. Good. Art. :iconhurrdurrplz:

:bulletorange: I will post the final work in mi DA Gallery and in my Social Media. You can ask to remain anonymous, no problem with that.
