Daspletosaurus was a tyrannosaurid from a slightly earlier time in the Late Cretaceous than the more famous Tyrannosaurus rex. This example is from the Judith River Formation of western Montana. It is on display at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. The skull is aout 2/3 the length of an adult T. rex.
