the little squirrel running up and down yggdrasil to deliver cheeky insults between the nameless eagle at the crown and nidhoggr who resides between the roots of the gigantic tree. he's a busy little fella so it's not an easy feat to spot him. but those who do are meant to hear the laughter of ratatoskr who is endlessly amused by the insults exchanged. not that he has anything to do with it...

dedicated to @rainingcrow here on DA who couldn't include ratatoskr in his artwork. he's simply too small for it. ;)
