To the people who are defending the Godzilla Polygon trilogy: 1. "It was made for a female audience so that's why the movies (aside from maybe the third film) didn't have monster fights": REALLY? You ARE aware that there are female Godzilla fans who, just like the boys, love to see Kaiju slam each other into buildings. Also, if Toho wanted to make this to attract female newcomers, then why did none of the female characters have any agency other than prizes for Haruo? Yuko was just... THE GIRL who ends up fridged at the end of the second film and the Houtua twins are just interchangeable love interests. Oh, and Mothra just gets a cameo and that's it. 2. "Haruo had a decent character arc": His arc is literally just Eren Yaeger but with Godzilla except he's not a twist villain, and that he doesn't turn into a giant monster at the end. Also, what makes Haruo so special? He lost his parents to Godzilla (which we find out wasn't the case in the expanded universe novels that AREN'T

Hey there, did you know that the Midwich Dinosaur specials are all now on Blue Ray? I helped fund the DVD of Dinosaurs Dinosaurs Dinosaurs a decade ago, but now all of them are on a 2 disk special.

That goes without saying. And for consistency's sake, they'd have likely been brought to life using suitmation and puppetry much like 'The Last Dinosaur'.
