Author’s Note: I recently came across a picture of Ace of the Royal Flush Gang and wanted to learn more about her. After watching the Justice League episode Wild Cards and the epilogue of Justice League Unlimited, I was intrigued by her story and thought it would be interesting to play around with an idea that popped into my head. I never got into the Justice League series, and that is unfortunate because Joker was brilliant

"Green Legion?" It was a tentative question that was incredibly familiar, and Querl glanced up from where he had been scribbling down a few notes for Lyle for later, arching an eyebrow at Shikari's entrance. She did not look extremely unsure, just her typical hesitance to ensure that she was not interrupting his working.
She was one of the very few that actually did so.
"Yes? What do you need?" A bit short, perhaps, but few rarely came just to talk, and Shikari seemed to be no exception.
Not taking his words to heart, Shikari lit up, quickly crossing the distance between them to stop right in front of where he was standing, her hands clasping together in apparent excitement, grin wide and bright on her face. "Green Legion, it is Christmas!"

“Why aren’t we moving?” Rokk Krinn muttered.
He directed his complaint at one of the broad viewing ports which dominated both sides of the Main Lounge on board the Lady Josephine. Beyond the transparent material, and over a million kilometers away, Saturn was presenting a clearly visible sphere, its rings describing a thin line across its surface. The overall view was admittedly poor. To show Saturn to its full esthetic advantage required a spaceship to move much closer and approach from a higher or lower angle. The pastel bands of the planet could be made out to good effect, but the Lady Josephine’s current position robbed its passengers of the best possible total perspective.
All of this mattered little to Rokk. He personally felt that the rings of Tralabon, or Nueva Cordoba, were far more impressive. But the T
