Train Dangers

0 min read
My train to Manchester was I guess predictably crowded, given that it's a Friday evening. Tiredness meant I was definitely not on the ball at Euston, and it felt like the whole of London got to Platform One before me. The upshot was that myself and a few other people had to stand in one of those small areas with minimal seating, right outside the toilets. Weirdly enough, it was a mostly comfortable journey - I imagine the smaller group of us generated less body-heat than the crowd filling up the seats next door. An hour in, my eyelids were flickering, and I was perhaps not paying as much attention as I could have been when leaning back agai

Popping my head in

0 min read
Thanks for reading this in earnest. Just poking my head around the door with an explanation to a few people whom I know have left me messages, and anyone else who might have noticed my absence. Real Life has got in the way briefly, as it does for us all from time to time. I've actually made some headway into getting some creative stuff done in other mediums, which has been a bitch in some senses. After a lot of haggling with dates, I've finally got some studio time booked for a radio drama, which will be recorded by the end of October, and my cameraman has (after a year!) managed to track down the rushes for a short I filmed over a year ago

Fear not - I have not forgotten you!

0 min read
Just to the people I have ongoing projects/agreements with - I've just started a jobhunt so I've been on and off DA. Here's just a few shout-outs to people, and reassurances, so that you know you've not faded into the ether =) It's also quite a good reference for me so that I can check back and know what I'm doing. The Art Trade Stuff PuppetMaster1965 (https://www.deviantart.com/puppetmaster1965) - Did I ever note you? =S I was sure I did but can't find it. ScarecrowLullaby (https://www.deviantart.com/scarecrowlullaby) - I'm doing something with your haemophiliac, multi-lingual Carlyle, and you'll be doing a dark Magician by the name of Rocan, which I'll get back to you with. I have to define him a bit more clearly for you first.

Thanks for watching me back! XD (slightly shocked by that. Since you're talented and I'm just...eh.)
Not at all! Never realised I hadn't from the beginning. Aw, I appreciate the compliment. I think your stuff is great! x
If you're online, I figured I'd let you in on something:

You're a bloody good writer, and you inspire me into pursuing formats in prose which help portray my state of mind while writing. Thanks for that. Truly.

Stay awesome. You're a gifted writer, and a gem of a person. Missing you, bro - especially your thorough and rigorous comments. Always a pleasure reading 'em :)
Aw Shehroze. Platonic man-love on the Internetz. I'll be back soon, and you'll be the first person I come to =D (Got your suggestions on your previous pieces saved to review later.)
:) just to be sure though.

Give the following a read (you should find them in my gallery. Search for them if need be):

Hozan (Sadness), The Boys of Summer (Prompt), ScreamPrompt #40 trade, Remembrance, Labyrinth. And for shits and giggles read A cover Letter ans A Yorkshire Letter.

Hopefully you'll like these works. Hopefully.
