-Thanks for the responses! Ignore this-

Hello, everyone! I'm still kickin'. My bro (Gabasonian) and I are working on a project that'll help you make comics and/or comic dub animations, and we'd would love to get your thoughts! Even if you're not really interested in these specific topics, you can still give us some insight into your life for us to help you.

Here’s a link to the survey: goo.gl/forms/BN4QSYhuvggtfjO82

4 points will be handed out for thoughtful survey completions and after you've given us your Email Address (for future contact) and DeviantArt links (for verification purposes). Anyway, thanks for your time!

UPDATE: Thanks for the responses! Just ignore this
-UPDATE-
I've received enough responses, so thanks! Just ignore this.

Suuup! I've decided to open up commissions again, but this time I'm mostly focusing on comic commissions. I feel that I may have become too narrow-minded with how I make comics, so hopefully this can help me gain a fresh perspective. Anyway, I might as well open this up for the tiny chance someone does commission me!

Details/Info

  • If you have some kind of Zelda (especially BoTW...someone's still in a mood for BoTW), Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, or Pokemon comic idea you'd like me to draw, send me a note with details and then we'll discuss it from there
  • I'll post the completed commission to Deviantart, unless I'm told otherwise
  • Expect your commission to be finished within two weeks
  • If you rrrrreally want me to just draw a single character for you and not a comic, please check out my original commission journal.

Payment

  • I only take USD on Paypal
  • I'll note you my Paypal email and the total cost after we've agreed upon the details of your commission
  • Payment is in advance -  I'll start drawing as soon as I'm paid
  • No refunds

Prices (USD)

  • A comic will cost at least $40, and can go all the way up to $100 depending on the complexity of characters, poses, backgrounds, and the number of panels

Nevermind, I got the goods
Sup, I've decided to start doing commissions. Lately, I haven't been active here at all, so it might be dumb of me to announce this now. Still, I might as well put this up for anyone who seriously considers this once in a blue moon!

I'll try to explain the rules as straightforward (and dry) as possible.

Details/Info

  • I'm willing to draw both existing and OC characters (especially Zelda, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, and/or Pokemon related ones)
  • I'm not willing to draw controversial/adult/graphic/blahblah subject matter
  • The art style will be the same as the style I always use with my comics
  • I'll post the completed commission to Deviantart, unless I'm told otherwise
  • I'll take around a week to finish a commission
  • I'm not planning on doing comic commissions right now, but if someone rrrrrreally wants one I'll consider it. BTW they're a lot more expensive
How to commission me
Please send me a note with these details:
  • Character name or profile or identification
  • Character References: Even if the character isn't an OC, references can still be used to show me what pose/expression/mood you'd like
  • Waist up or Full body? Assuming the character has a humanoid shape. If waist up, you should probably also specify how you want me to draw the arms, otherwise I'll just keep them lamely at the sides (the arms will be cutoff)
  • Background or no Bg?: Would you like a background or not? If so, you could either describe or show what you'd like
  • ...And anything else that would be helpful!
Payment
  • I only take USD on Paypal
  • I'll note you my Paypal email and the total cost after I've approved of your commission
  • Payment is in advance, so I'll start drawing as soon as I'm paid
  • No refunds
Prices (USD)
  • Waist up character: $15
    • Additional waist up character(s): $10 each
  • Full body characters: $25 each
    • I might charge more for super-detailed-full-body characters, unless if you're fine with some simplification
  • Background: $10 - $15
    • Remember, blank/solid colored/gradient backgrounds don't cost anything

  • Sup. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

Almost 2 years, but I've been lurking longer.

  • What does your username mean?

    Literally, it means death rush.

Okie dokie, as for its origin: it's a term that's used to describe a type of streetpass team from a game called Fire Emblem: Awakening, and most of the characters on this team have a skill called "Lethality" (it's a one hit KO move) blah blah

  • Describe yourself in three words.

    I don't wanna (let's pretend don't is one word).

  • Are you left or right handed?

    ->

  • What was your first deviation?

I drew this on an IPad that I don't own anymore.

  • What is your favourite type of art to create?

    One-shot video game comics

  • If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

I suppose any form of digital or traditional painting; maybe even paint dripping.

  • What was your first favourite?

let me help you by aquanut

I was such a FE: A fanatic when I first joined.

  • What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

All of my favorites so far have been video game related art.

  • Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

No individual immediately popped up in my mind when I read this...so I'll use that as my excuse not to name one : P

  • If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

You know who you are : P

  • How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

My bro, Gabasonian. His digital art is probably the biggest reason why I started drawing again after placing it on the back burner for few years.

I also have a slightly more cheesy answer: anyone who's ever paid attention to my comics. There's no way that I would've continued for this long if there was no discernible feedback.

  • What are your preferred tools to create art?

Paint tool sai, photoshop, and a drawing tablet

  • What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

    Home office

(Unpredictable in a good way.)

Many of you have already seen these types of journal entries, but let me thank you all the same!
I direct this to each and every one of you who've wished me, a dude who draws videogame comics (and posts them on the internet), a happy birthday.
Plus all of you who've given me badges, points, and all other kinds of support (both visible and invisible) from the start of this account until now. I appreciate that. I appreciate YOU.
You guys really helped in making drawing a hobby of mine again.

Also, bodacious birthday to my brother and mutual inspiration instigator as well, :icongabasonian:
You've probably noticed the family resemblance.
Here's his journal: gabasonian.deviantart.com/jour…

Personality-wise, I'm rather unremarkable on here because I don't talk much for the most part. Though I do enjoy it when the people that I follow (be it YouTube, DeviantArt, ect.) share things about their life or talk about stuff that gets you to know them better. For me, this makes me connect more to the person behind the video or drawing.
I'm hypocritical in this way - I like it when the people I follow sometimes share interesting details about themselves while I myself don't really do any of that. But that's alright.
I'm here to try to entertain with videogame comics, not blabber on about my life.

:iconasiantoonlinkplz: Have a great time :iconasiantoonlinkplz:
Hey there - have someone in mind this Valentine's day, and you don't have a punny Zelda Valentine to send to them ? Well, I modified the wording on my "HoT, Timeless Pickup Line" comic to suit that very desire!
N~joy and Happy (almost) Valentine's Day!

Here it is:
