The Amp Family Tree

Well, here are some more newcomers to the Paperverse: the Amps.

The Amps in the game Paper Mario Darkness in Time will be rather annoying to defeat. They have high Defense, they are constantly hovering in the air, and they are constantly electrified, meaning you have very little choices on how to defeat them. Make sure you have a powerful Hammer Throw with you before facing these things.

Anyway, here are their tattles:

Amp:
"That's an Amp, a living orb of electricity. Max HP is 6, Attack is 7, and Defense is 4. Scans shows that they have unlimited electricity stored inside themselves, so do not make physical contact on these things. The stored electricity also allows them to pierce our defense. The fact that they are constantly hovering off the ground pretty much limits our options. Did I mention that I really hate these things?"

Ancient Amp (grey):
"That's an Ancient Amp, an Amp that has been around since near the beginning of time itself. Wow... Max HP is 16, Attack is 12, and Defense is 4. They are just like regular Amps, meaning they are just as annoying as the last with the attack that pierces our defense. They do got more tricks, though. They can use that stored electricity and electrify an ally, making them immune to physical contact for a few turns. They can also launch a power Lightning Strike attack at us, so guard well."

Dark Amp (dark blue):
"That's a Dark Amp, an Amp that has lived in the deepest depths of the Pit of 100 Trials. Max HP is 24, Attack is 15, and Defense is 5. They are much stronger versions of the regular Amps. They are constantly hovering and electrified, their basic attack ignores Defense, they can make their allies electrified, and they can hit us with their Lightning Strike attack. These are pretty much the most annoying Amps in existance, so don't expect any mercy from these things."
