Passion Evening by Leonid Afremov

I really like the visual on this piece though it may not sound like it. As with all your art I've seen your color use is the driving force, with the reflections in the wet ground which carries on down the way into the cooler evening along with the lamps light reactions with the leaves giving the burst of color onto the trees is such a great image in and of itself. My eyes are more drawn to those reflections than to the pair on the bench, which almost feel like an afterthought compared to the rest of the piece and i lose the other benches. The pair on the bench are well rendered, but do not feel like the focus. The bloom of warm colors behind them seems to be there to draw the eye to them, but to me it seems that its fighting with the center lamp that, dividing the attention. As i said in the beginning, I liked the piece quite a bit and thanks for making it. Well done!
