Amazing use of texture. It always impresses me how you differentiate between the ground from the leves or the sky from a tree trunk. The warm colors bring such energy and life to this painting. I do notice that this has a lot more depth while staying focused on a small scene then in some of your other paintings. It’s nice to see just a small part of this path but at the same time knowing that there is so much more around the corner or further in the trees. I also like the hint of the sky at the top, it reminds me of a cool autumn day. Masterfully done.

Overallm this is a very nice piece. Lovely use of color and form. However, as with most of your work, it's a bit boring. This has to be the tenth picture in your gallery with this composition and subject matter, and it's beginning to become boring and overused. It's understandable that you feel best conveying your art in this format, but it would be nice if you could change it up a little occasionally.

It would be interesting to see your take on different nature scenes, not just one-point-perspective forest shots. Maybe a rocky scene on a desolate mountain? The charred ground outside a volcano? A cave in an icy wasteland? Anything but this shot over and over again.

Great ! Simple, yet complex, with great colours.

Analytic or synthetic cubism ?
( Just something I say when I want to feel intelligent.)

I usually don't like impressionistic stuff but... I've been won over with this one. Beautiful colour! Before I enlarged it, I had no idea it was impressionist which just shows what a good artist you are!
