White Wolf - Feather Art

An old feather painting done back in 06. I really liked this one... I hardly ever paint white wolves. They're beautiful, but their fur can be a bit tricky for me sometimes. White is never WHITE really, not when you're painting it. ^^ You'd be surprised just how many colors are used to render it sometimes.
Acrylic paints and gel pen on small turkey feather.

so beautiful! i really want to try featherpainting too, have to go and look for some feathers .. 
wow, that's amazing... the slits are clearly just part of the feather's form, but they seem so perfectly placed! i think they really make it more beautiful.
