Day 26: Draw a pony in control / Draw a pony leading.

Look who's finally drawn something for ATG again! Something canon, even. :dummy:
Or rather, doodled something. As you can see, I still can't draw backgrounds. But it's just my second real try, so hopefully I can get better.

When I saw the prompt, my mind went to an obvious (but by no means boring) royal mare, under whose rule Equestria has known its longest period of peace.
I really wanted to draw a canon character again, and I really wanted to draw Tia in particular, because she's just a beautiful horse. :meow:
And also because the last time I drew her, two years ago, it looked terrible. ^^;

I decided to portray her raising the sun, starting another day of hard work, while freeing Luna from her duties, kind of inspired by the S7 episode "Royal Problems", one of my all-time favourites.
I'm relatively satisfied of this drawing, but there's still a lot of improvement that can be done. So don't be afraid to give me feedback! :dummy:

Oh, damn, this brings the memories back. Like all those music videos and animations from 2013-2015, you know? How is this called? YES Lullaby for a Princess! Your artwork really reminded me of that time. So much nostalgia...
Celestia is my favorite princess, it's so awesome that you decided to draw her. And since you asked for feedback, I think the only downside I see is in the background - i know it was supposed to be minimalistic, but my concern is about the colors. If you were going for the night setting, it would have been better to make the grass a dark cyan. Trust me, cyan appears green in dark blue settings. And I'm pretty sure that the sun should be more light on the horizon, a very light yellow or white would have worked greatly. And I'd also fuse the dark blue with the light blue together a bit more. I'm just pointing out the things I wish someone was there to tell me when I began drawing complex backgrounds...
Other than that, it's an awesome piece, really! The way you drew Celestia is simply gorgeous. Keep it up!
