Description
I love love love really intense glows. It's a problem that I am choosing to enable by endlessly producing brushes.
All brushes made by me! Use however you like, just please don't steal them and claim as your own. Credit is always appreciated. I would LOVE to see if you make anything with them!
There are two versions of each brush: a 'regular' one and one set to colour dodge. The regular ones are just...regular, lol. No special settings, just the shape of the brush.
It's the colour dodge brushes that makes the really bright glow that you see in the preview image (I didn't use any effects like drop shadow/glow/etc, it's just the brushes.)
If you want to replicate the way they look in the preview image:
1) Make sure you're using the colour dodge brush!!
2) Use a dark background. For this I used a really dark blue base and then just mixed in some dark purples and reds for some variation using some smudge brushes. Playing around with filter >> liquify works great too.
3) Use the brushes on the same layer as the dark background!!
4) For this image the brushes were 100% opacity in white. Pretty much any colour works, but to get the glowy effect it should be quite a bit lighter than the background layer.
Anyway, enjoy
