I really like this piece a lot.
1) I'm just wondering, why is the top part of her dress so tight? It feels as if she's wearing spandex. Historically, the Viking type clothing was made of wool. Now, wool can be tight, but usually its not depicted as much in that time period. Sorry. It just struck me as odd, when I saw her. (please, keep in mind, I'm no professional, so feel more than free to just toss this critique right into the virtual trash bin).
1) Regardless of the tightness of the top, I do love her outfit. From the boots, to the dress, to the feathered headpiece, it's all very cohesive and eye-catching. The red and blue embroidery at the top and bottom of the dress really works well with the tan. And don't get me even started on that belt. That woman has some great fashion sense!
2) I love, love, LOOOVE how the plants in the foreground of this picture are so out of focus. It's such a neat trick. I'm in awe of it.
Thank you so much for posting this on DA. Keep up the great work.
