I haven't bought comics in years but I always liked your stuff. When I saw a Sculptris screen grab on here I was shocked. Very cool. I'm surprised more comic artists haven't given it a try.

This is your SECOND try?!! Oh man, so frustrating. I got this about three months ago, and I'm nowhere near the level you're at. Very impressed and very nice work.

Again, tho, you got me motivated and inspired.

I like Sculptris. But I sure wish I could use the current one on my computer as oppossed to S3. Sculptris 3 is the only version I can get to work on my computer as S5 and S6 crashes on my computer. Can't figure out why either.

Have they added some additions to Sculptris?!? It looks like you are able to toggle between sculpting and texturing?

Hey Damon,

I'm mostly self-taught tho I did train with Whilce Portacio for about a year. There's always the Kubert School. and of course study comicbooks. They are the best reference cause it's all there, the anatomy, story-telling, etc.

a long time ago but I decided not to spend too much time on 3d. Sculptris is just a toy for me. easy to learn, just like playing with clay.

Did you know you can take screenshots without the menu on? It's in options, in the top right corner of the menu. You can even remove the background.

not sure... I think they develop hand in hand... or in my case, my 2d skills help me a lot.

How is the user interface to that program? Low/High learning curve? Very cool, I look forward to seeing what you will be able to do with it if you continue practicing with it.
