The Apple Core of My Eye

This was originally just the green and red core looking bits with a nasty background. I don't recall the original coloring but I took it from Tierazon to Photoshop and fixed it up to that nice red hue... or maybe I combined it with another fractal. I forget.

The corners looked like hearts so I emphasized them a bit and fixed them with Photoshop to be more solid like a gem and plastic looking.

It made me think of that phrase:
You're the apple of my eye... only a little more darkly as these are cores. Must be my current depression taking a lead for my artwork. (I'm quite a bore)
