Apologies for the two days lateness. Picking an artist among so many deserving ones was a great difficulty!
Introducing the artist!Adila
is a long-time member of our Group: she's been in our ranks ever since February 2010, and her works have always been a magnific addition to our Gallery.
A photographer of anything worth shooting and an amazing typography artist, her Gallery is a mixture of skill and beauty.
I might, or might not, have an obsession for such kind of flowers and shots of them, but I find this absolutely sweet and uplifting.
The blue sky, the focus, those leaves that look like parchment...
This is one of the simplest text art I've ever seen, but it just works so perfectly. The message in the deviation, as much as the one in her Artist's Comments, is one we often forget and should all keep in mind.
and our community, as you can see, thought the same! It was awarded a well-deserved Daily Deviation in 2009.
The blue-green feeling of this picture's background always makes me think it was taken right after a rainfall, for some reason I can't explain. I chose it among so many other similar ones precisely because of this feeling it gives me, and I might be weird, but I love
how fields of flowers look just after a rainfall.
And she caught this sensation in her shot completely.
And again, a play on focus that I absolutely adore. This purple's intensity draws you to the picture's center, which feels like a small sun of its own...
Every tiny detail, every single wrinkle on the petals is an aspect worth cherishing.
But Adila has so much more to offer, my lefty companions! She is an artist that will never stop surprising and gifting us with precious deviations to look at.TheMaidenInBlack
