Mmhm ^^ I feel like when her look changed, her character has changed too. She's more opened up, very trusting to the crystal gems, and seems to be a lot more happier (at least to me)

It's a great design and you captured it beautifully. Vaugely martial-artist/middle-eastern in its aesthetic

The only criticism I have (of the design, not this picture) is that I think the sandals are over-designed and almost superfluous. In some shots the animators seemed to agree and simplified the design by removing them, which I think balanced Lapis' new look a little more

I agree with you, in many shots all she had was the bottom sole of the sandal (or nothing at all), super interesting! But yeah, I prefer Lapis barefoot because it suits her longing for freedom, but it’s just one tiny detail and I overall love her new look. Thanks for the kind words and thoughtful comment.

I just watch the episode on the cartoon network app on my Xbox. And I had to say, IT'S THE BEST EPISODE EVER! I love Peridots' and Lapis' new uniform(they're my favorite characters now.), the fusions (Obsisdian is awesome!), the crystal gems' new uniforms, I love their new forms better, even Peridots' and Lapis'. The corrupted gems are now healed along with Jasper. I EVERTHING ABOUT AND IN THE EPISODE! My new favorite episode along with Reunited. Can't wait for the movie and season 6.
