MY RULES - (these are basically the same as and taken from http://mjranum-stock.deviantart.com/ I saw little reason to re-invent the wheel)
You are required to give me appropriate credit as photographer where and however possible. My stock is free; the way you 'pay' to use it is by crediting me. It doesn't need to be in big letters on the image, it can be in text or a link or in liner notes, or whatever (I understand sometimes it's not possible to credit, such as in video, in which case that's ok. Just do your best!) - but it'

I think it's been about 4 years since I've submitted anything new. That's the bad news. The good news is I'm now 100x better a photographer than I was and I've got some really cool photos I want to share. I also understand 'stock' a little better and I hope you'll find these photos useful.
I love all the links and the notes I've gotten, and I apologize for those I haven't gotten back to. Stoked to see what gets created with the new stuff.

Apologies to all the notes and messages I've received and haven't got back to. Its been a few years since I've logged in. As this is likely to happen again and you send me a message asking for permission and don't hear back, go ahead and use it provided the rules are followed. For prints, outside DA, whatever.

Make sure you actually change the image before using it. These photos are meant to be complimentary pieces of something else. They suck as photos on your own. Claiming bad photos as your own = pretty lame.
Don't use the stock for anything racist/political/derogatory.

I am incredibly excited about the possibility of using your stock in some soft pastel paintings!!!! I am only beginning to explore this medium, so your photos are perfect for it and inspiring to say the least! I will definitely be sharing the finished art with you, my fellow Canadian
