I am currently working as an illustrator/(graphic) designer at the educational department of Rotterdam Zoo.
My illustrations are used in lesson-material, on theme-panels at the enclosures of our animals, in educational exhibitions, in the childrens pages in our magazine etc. I also make impressions and designs for our educational exhibits and, together with my trainees, almost all the graphic design for our educational deparment.
Alas, my work in the zoo will be ending on 01-07-2013 after 24 years of sevice. So I have to start looking for e new job...
My private work (when I've got the time...) has a totally different subject. It´s often a kind of "dark ages/megalithic" fantasy. (It's always a challenge to get this somehow into my normal zoo-work.)
I'm also following figure drawing lessons in the evening at the free collage in my hometown.society6.com/leenzuydgeest
