Benton Moments - Authority

Lost my heart to lovely John Benton.  And these amazing little typical Benton situations are one of many reasons for that.

Well, »trapped between persons of authority« would be a suitable title for this one here. Professor Stahlman is an authority (and unpleasant person), no doubt about it. But John seems to be impressed by him so heavily that he starts a debate with the BRIGADIER -> his boss! Honestly, what kind of reaction exactly did he expect from the brigadier if he fails to execute a direct command?

Unfortunately brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart doesn't let him get away with that. Funny - with the right tone suddenly it works! ^^ Well, Stahlman might be some kind of authority - the brigadier is one for sure! (And yes: John succeeded in getting the professor to the brigadiers office finally! I don't know how he managed that, but I think the brigadier made his point clear enough to top the professor!  )
