Usage Rights
My base commission prices include ONLY the right to have the art for your private enjoyment. It does not include the rights to re-post the un-edited image elsewhere on the internet.*  I do this so that I can keep my basic rates affordable- by making additional money off image rights which many commissioners do not care about. This is about more than obeying the law- please respect these rules to help me keep my prices affordable!
*ONLY If you are the commissioner:
You may repost and create derivative works from the low-resolution/ censored version with my signature. (The same version I post in my DeviantArt gallery.) Small images (avatars, banners, etc) you do not need to credit me. But please do credit with a link back to my gallery if you re-post the complete low resolution version elsewhere. If you want a specific crop or resize from the full size original picture, just ask me and I can help. ^_^ I want you to enjoy your commission, I just want to keep the full artwork from ending up all over the internet without me making any money from it.

For Original Character (OC) commissions, the commissioner has the rights to the character design, but this is not the same as the rights to a specific illustration I draw for you. All other rights, including posting in my galleries, selling prints, etc, belong to me unless purchased.

The Rules & Process:

English is not my native language. (A friend helped me edit the language in these rules.) Please, PLEASE use simple language when writing to me. Also, try not to use slang. (For example, for body parts… If you want me to draw it, you can say the correct word.)

Send me your character name, a little bit of information about their background/personality, and lots of information about what you want me to draw. Reference pictures are good. Character appearance, clothing, haircut pose, stick figures- anything. I can work from just a description, but the more visual references you provide, the more the commission will look the way you want.

If I am working on your commission, please check and respond to your email at least once day. I may be waiting for your input before I can continue your commission.

I am a student, and school comes first. I work pretty fast, but I may not have time to work on commissions every single day. Also, there may be people in the queue in front of you. One commission a week is about my average, but this is not a guarantee. I will get to your art as fast as I can, but if you have a deadline, you should probably look for another artist. I would be happy to give you an estimate of when I can get to your work, just ask.

• Payment by paypal only.
  
• When I am ready to start your work (or a couple days before if you are in the queue), a 50% deposit is expected up front before I start drawing. (Check my DA commissions folder, you can see that am not a scammer.)
  
• I will send you a sketch for feedback before I start coloring.
  
• Once the sketch is approved, your 50% deposit is not refundable (unless some emergency on my side keeps me from finishing your work!) 
  
• You can provide additional feedback on changes after the coloring is complete. Depending on my schedule, I may send you work in progress for feedback also.
