Dev

Dev knew Root before either of them joned Starfleet. She entered Starfleet Academy earlier and took the four-year officer courses, emerging top of her class with a reputation for diligence and hard work. The fact that she is now a junior officer and he a crewman has caused a slight awkwardness.

She has a passion for motor vehicles, whether light aircraft or ground cars. Despite being on the Command track in Academy, she took as many shuttle and other piloting electives as she could fit in. She has competed in motor races in a three-wheeled kit roadster she built herself.
