Hello you wonderful people! I want to take the time to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you collectively as I simply can not take the time to do it any other way.
Most of us are here to post art that is a reflection of our creativity and need to create. Certainly we all enjoy at least a little of the limelight shining on us; and some more than others. There is nothing wrong with that. However, when I comment on anyone's art it is because something about their creation appeals to me, or strikes a chord within that causes me to feel things, makes me think and experience life from a different perspective. Sometimes art makes me experience things that perhaps I might rather not feel at that moment, but that is the power of art, don't you think? To reach us on a level that takes us captive, if only for a short while. Some of the most powerful images I have ever seen do just that. Many times they are images that involve humanitarian issues.
What I want to tell you is that it is not necessary to comment on my creations if you don't have the time to do so. Believe me, I know how that is, especially within the last 3 or 4 weeks. From time to time I always make this statement and it is still the way I feel. I would rather know that you spend your time creating beautiful art, than to comment on mine. I also hope that you don't respond to every comment I may give your art. I do have a lot more time than a lot of people do.
The other issue I have is that I have to limit the time I set at the computer. I have some circulation issues with my lower legs. I have a condition known as CVI which can be very dangerous if ignored.
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a condition that occurs when the venous wall and/or valves in the leg veins are not working effectively, making it difficult for blood to return to the heart from the legs. CVI causes blood to “pool” or collect in these veins, and this pooling is called stasis.
So I have to limit my setting time. That is also part of why I don't respond to every comment, llama gift, fave and watch. I wanted you all to be aware that I am so appreciative of your time, your dedication to checking out what I do and that you like my art well enough to follow it. It means more than you can realize.
Be happy in your artistic creations!
