A "Mary-Sue" (or "Gary-Stu" for males) is a character who is overly perfect. Usually found in fanfiction, these characters are nearly invincible, multi-talented to the extreme, and loved by everyone except the readers. Often, Mary-Sue represents the author's idealized version of themselves projected into the world of the original fiction, also known as canon. The readers can easily detect this fact. Keep reading for detailed instructions on how to keep this annoying character from showing up in your writing. Rule Number One: Knowing The Stories Well Know your material. Try not to go on hearsay, or what you've seen in two or three episodes. If you can't watch the whole season or read the entire series, that's what the Internet is for. Research your fandom. Rule Number Two: Locating Your Character Plausibly Avoid making your character related to a canon character. While some canon characters have vague pasts that can be manipulated, a frequent and recognized (although not compulsory)

Art Thief Alert #11. MAJOR alert this time. The thief in question is 'Cybelle Carollinne'. So, obviously, I'd usually say that the thing to do here is to report the stolen content in question as 'violating someone else's intellectual property', and then block the user. While that absolutely applies here...the thing is, the user in question is a serial, prolific thief who has been active for at least 13 years (and possibly more), and has a SWARM of sockpuppets and alts. Go through the posts by @NoirRyu and @luthien-black above (and the comments on them) and report and block ALL of the socks and alts mentioned.
