Children are cruel

I really like this image! By using a short focal length as you did you managed to retain focus on all three key elements of the image and consequently what might have been a rather weak image turned into an absolute beaut!

I have a real love/hate relationship with blown highlights -- but in this case I don't even mind them. The background is black enough that it balances out the absolute white without distracting from the more normal exposure of the face, doomed dolle, and train.

The conversion is well done -- I"m not normally a fan of sepia tones -- but this is nice.

And I really love the clarity of the train -- that definition is a big part of what makes this image so strong to me.
