WipEout OC - Benedetta Sant'Elia

Born on 14th August 2107, she was the daughter of the once famous AG Pilot of Piranha before he moved to the international Icaras Team in 2115, Fillia Sant'Elia. In her youth she craved to follow the path of her father, joining the AG Junior Academy around 16 before she entered the competition five years later after a brilliant start in her racing career.

Combining her already strong passion for sports, which strengthened her body over time, she was a natural talent to pilot the lightweight Icaras SunGod XVi. However, she barely managed to score any good points due to the nearly impossible task to remain in one piece across each race. The only thing she did well, at least, was to lit further the popularity of the Team to the youngest generation with her always positive attitude and presence around herself.

Unfortunately, that didn't help them in the long run: her father left them in 2132; 8 years later the Team filed bankruptcy, closing after not even 40 years of activity.
FEISAR gave her a contract to race for them soon after, but she mysteriously left it after a few years. After Overtel overcame entirely the Sport in the same period, for her there was nothing left to enjoy.

She continued with her ordinary life as a housewife after her marriage to Umberto Forlani, an important entrepreneur in Turin, a year later the end of Icaras. She had with him three children, Azari, Enrico and Leandra.
