I haven't been on here at all the past couple days because I've been at Disney World! I ran the runDisney Expedition Everest 5k. It was the first race that I have run since February 2020! It felt SO GOOD to be back running! I've missed it so much. The race was great. Being at Disney World was great. But.... I definitely had some bad luck on this trip! The trip felt pretty cursed from the get go! First thing I did when I got to my hotel room was knock one of my cameras (my Canon Powershot G7X Mark II) off the bed and onto the hard floor where it completely shattered on impact. I wore new shoes on this trip, and thought that I would be fine from blisters because I brought moleskins and Body Glide Foot Anti-Blister Balm. Yeahhh... even with the added blister prevention, I got HUGE blisters on my feet. And then I had to run my 5K on my already blistered feet, where they turned into awful purple blood blisters.
