Sabriel and Mogget

A friend of mine lent me her copy of Sabriel by Garth Nix because she though I might like it. BOY was she right! It's the story of an 18 year old necromancer and her sundry adventures though a world where the dead walk the earth....whats not to like? And what can I say I am SUCH a sucker for well written strong Female characters..yum yum yum!

Sabriel and her pal Mogget. Mogget I haven't quite gotten down yet. He's a spirit of "Free Magic" trapped in cat form, so in my head I kinda of picture him as a white cat, but his "fur" is always moving and shifting and floating about like wind or flame...he kind of reminds me of a chinese dragon for some reason so I want to incorporate that swirling and twisting nature into his design....
