Near Cill Chriosd on the Isle Of Skye is a ruined village up on a hill. This ruined building and the low walls are all that remain. I believe the village may have been called Boreraig.

No. It can't be easy. There is a lot of whisky drunk in Scotland though :)

why was it abandoned? Well it may have been because it was associated with the old marble works that was in that area or I any have been to do with the highland clearances. I really don't know.
