Miku's Not For You Anymore.
That's right folks. It's true. With the push to bring Miku to the West, opening for Lady Gaga, performing on The Late Show, partnering with American companies like WeLoveFine and Tokidoki, and of course the infamous English Miku, many people have been voicing their discomfort with the whole situation.
"Miku's supposed to be Japanese!"
"Why didn't she perform that one really popular song that the whole fandom loves?"
"No one watching David Letterman is going to like Miku!! They'll think she's weird!!"
"If Miku becomes popular in America she'll be ruined!!"
"Who made that decision?" some wonder.
"Why would Crypton do that?" others cry.
"This isn't what fans want!!" they scream.
Let me blow your mind...
Crypton knows this. They know this isn't what you want. They don't care. Because Miku's not for you anymore.
Miku is for everyone.
Now Calm down. I know what you're thinking. "I already know that! That's the point! Miku is for all the fans, not just me!"
