-He can use his a single violin string to strangle in addition to cutting things.

Soul Music
- He can trap (usually deceased) souls in sheet music.
Gavotte (dance)
- He can play musical pieces, preferabily Danse Macrabre to lure corpses out of their graves and extract their souls.He also can play lively, joyful sounding music, only to make others dance on their tippy-toes to their deaths. However,he can get easily exhausted since his body is unstable and can collapse into dust if not careful.
Garotte (rotting)
-His body has ceased to rot, because it is already turned to dust.
He can switch between his toy form and human form by plucking his own strings. His human body will turn to ash and be stored inside the violin's wood.
◊ Personality: Most of the time he is a frowner. If he does open his mouth, it's to sneer and make snide comments. He is the kind of person to slap away an outreached hand. Emile is a rather introverted individual but due to his last owner's influence, he continues to seek out people.

Emile wishes to act the same as his appearance suggests, that is--heartless. He believes his last owner died because he succumbed to his feelings. He is irritated at himself whenever he lets his emotions show. Emile takes the name 'Emile' meaning 'eager' and 'Amadour' meaning 'love' or 'lover'. He acts the opposite of what his name suggests.

(He has softened somewhat due to persons who have touched his heartstrings, literally and figuratively.)

◊ Bio:
There was once was a malicious spirit bound inside a toy violin. The violin originated from Mirecourt, France and went through the hands of quite a few owners, many who abused the violin or had grimy hands. Many of the violin's former owners had mysterious marks on their necks at the time of their deaths.
One day, the toy was bought for a boy. The boy could never go outside because of his heart problems. His father was hardly ever at home, so his only companion was the toy violin and a nearly deaf maid.
At first, it did not trust the boy, having too much bad experiences. Everyday the boy played, thinking up tunes to entertain himself. The spirit inside the violin could not help but become attached to the boy.
The boy lived much longer than was expected, and he soon fell in love with a girl. The egotistic girl rejected him though and he died of a broken heart. He was given a proper funeral and buried with his violin on his housemaid's insistence.
The body rested there until a group of Body-Snatchers disturbed his grave. They found the body in surprisingly good condition. What was pecuiliar was a heart-shaped hole in the chest, with strings running down it. The violin spirit, now using his deceased owner's body as a vessel and intoduced itself as Emile.

◊ Additional Information:
When others pull on the strings in the center of his chest, it can cause him to become over emotional,teary-eyed, and vulnerable, almost like a small child. (He now wears a shirt that doesn't have a hole in it, he is less vulnerable now, but it's problematic since he'll have to open his shirt to use his heartstrings. His toy violin is now with him most of the time.)

He, along with his owner learned magic from the deaf maid, who happened to be a witch. It was she that did the ritual to allow the spirit to be free from the violin; since it was what the violin's owner wished.

When he gets irritated or angered, he will speak in a shrill voice.

He is a terrible singer, when he tries to sing, his voice will sounds similiar to nails against a chalkboard.</sub>
