Species Information: Before psychoanalysis and psychiatric medications were developed, mental health was largely a mystery. Doctors simply did not know how to treat mental disorders such as schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety disorders. As a result, doctors attempted a variety of treatments that seem cruel by modern standards. Asylooms was one of these treatments. They were used to ease the victim of said conditions. They wrap themselves around the person in harm, and consume their pain. When all was said and done the Asylooms gained much of the same conditions as their paitents. So were forced to leave those they once helped. They were driven mad, and now reside in the mountains in the Kansaintro Region. Their howls and screams of pain, keep smart trainers at bay. When a good and kind trainer finds them they may be able to ease their suffering.

Dex Entry: The soul of a pokemon driven mad with pain and strife. They will haunt the people who wronged them till they're mad as it is. It's howls can be heard from miles around. If finds a kind trainer, will stay fiercely loyal.
