Its very well done
Congratulations on the well deserved DD!
Wow, this is stunning. Lush like a pre-Raphaelite, but with a unique feeling. Lovely! Congrats!
Oh man, thank you so much! I love the Pre-Raphaelites, and for it to be reminiscent but not a knockoff is basically what I want my art to do (:
Love the Maxfield Parrish lighting
When I saw your drawing, I was reminded of Alan Lee's Tolkien work (which always makes me happy). I love the dappling light on our lovers, the sense of drama, how they're positioned.
Oh my god that is the best compliment. Alan Lee is a master, and his Tolkien art - ugh, the best. Thank you thank you thank you!
congrats on the DD amazing! keep it up! *salutes*
It's beautiful. Great light, subtle drama, great composition.
Beautiful painting - and I enjoyed your description too
Yay Wagner and opera! Beautiful work!
Haha, I actually didn't go to the opera for my source material, though now that I've worked within this story I'm going to have to check it out.
Enchanting, have you perchance read Neil Gaiman's Stardust?
I have! I love that book :D

oh gosh this is stunning. I love the light. It's so heavenly and serene and the scene, I just...I want to go there. ;_;
The lighting on this is fantastic! Absolutely beautiful!
Love this. Although I must admit it's because it reminds me of a favorite shildrens book. Congrats on the DD you deserve it.
