"The iconic photograph of Leila Khaled, the picture which made her the symbol of Palestinian resistance and female power, is extraordinary in many ways: the gun held in fragile hands, the shiny hair wrapped in a keffiah , the delicate Audrey Hepburn face refusing to meet your eye."
(The Guardian - 26 January 2001)

"No one woman represents the Palestinian cause quite as dramatically as the freedom fighter, turned political activist Leila Khaled. Al Shindagah profiles the life of this remarkable woman and her ongoing struggle to attain justice for her countrymen."
(Al Shindagah - July 2001)

Thank you for the wonderful and true artwork that you have on your page. I really appreciate it. As a Palestinian myself, I cannot tell you how relevant this all is. Recently, at the university I go to I was called an Anti-Semite for speaking up against Israel. I don't know how this could be when I have Jewish friends! hahaha, Oh well - you can't cure idiocy and ignorance. Overall - LOVE your work!  ALOT! Never stop doing what you do, and ignore all the hate comments. <3

Nem igazán vagy magadnál :P! Ha csak így tudsz hozzászólni, inkább NE is tedd! Valamint az előző kommentem neked is szól!

Szép napot.

Keep hugging with criminals, She is the last of her kind.
If another "Palestinian" woman stands up for herself, She will be promptly beaten and raped.

racial profiling can never be wrong, all arabs and palastianis are terrorists, they all hijack planes all the time, even all women and child, and they hate freedom, so we must kill them all cuz its alright to sacrifice the freedom of others to protect our own freedom( our own freedom is to be a dumbass couch potato and think we are the best nation in the world and everything we say is true!

fuck all nationalists and have a good day

Figyelj, miért szólsz hozzá olyan dologhoz amihez semmit sem értesz? Ő csak a saját népén próbál meg segíteni! HA A TE ORSZÁGODAT ROMBOLNÁK PORIG TE MIT TENNÉL?? Really awesome, my brother.

Laila Khaled, a real heavy weight of Palestine's struggle

Lucky you.

Well at least I'm a friend of a former leader of the al-Aqsa Brigades from Bethlehem that was in the incident of the Church of the Nativity and now remains as a refugge in the European Union. In my hometown to be exact.

I am developing the idea of creating a long b&w comic book about that sad story.

I'll keep you updated about this.

Long live to Palestine
