This tutorial shows how perspective distortion can be removed from a photograph of an artwork prior to its submission to DeviantArt using the free photo-editing program GIMP 2.8.14. Other photo-editing programs are likely to offer similar facilities for this correction.

Digitalizing drawings has always been a nightmare for me, and I never thought of using perspective tool (I have PS, I should give it a try) for distortion corrections.
