THIS is how Scootaloo's wing situation should have been handled in the series. No weaseling out of answering the "disability versus late bloomer" question until right at the end, and no having Scootaloo yearning to fly while no one bothers to offer her any assistance with that.


Though a fixed-wing glider (such as what Apple Bloom tried out in "Call of the Cutie", or the glider thing from comic issue 81 that got the earth pony Wind Sock into the Wonderbolts) might be more practical.
