March 2011 - Failed idea

This is not Unity or shell, just standard Gnome with a normal panel on the left side.

The idea was to create something that resembled Unity, but I couldn't get DockBarX to work, so I just put some normal launchers there. The icons also doesn't match the rest somehow imo. The idea failed plain and simple. :/
