I thought about the ideas of making double exposures. I have always wanted to combine portraits and people with natures and landscapes. I enjoyed the surreal effect of the idea of a person made up from nature scenes such as trees, leaves, flowers, and other living things. I wanted to make it so that when you look at the finished piece, you see just a little bit of the person, but a lot of the natural beauty that surrounds us every day. The idea of the flowing nature scene along with the way that the body flows really fascinated me. I wanted to explore the relationship of two very different living and beautiful things. By doing these double exposures I feel like I've brought the nature scenes to life in a serene and interesting way.
